What is FreshFlow?

FreshFlow is a kitchen and meal planning app built for individuals and families who want to eat better, waste less, and plan meals without the guesswork. Whether you're cooking for one or a full house, FreshFlow keeps your pantry visible, highlights items expiring soon, and suggests meals you can make with what you already have.

The app works on Android, iOS, and Web, and is available in English and Sinhala, so you can use it in the language you're most comfortable with.

Pantry & Inventory Management

Add items to your pantry with names, categories, quantities, and expiry dates. FreshFlow shows you what you have at a glance and surfaces "Expiring Soon" so you can use food before it goes to waste. You can also see recently added items in the "Added Flow" section to stay on top of new stock.

Fresh Flow Suggestions

One of the app's standout features is Fresh Flow Suggestions: recipe ideas that match your current pantry and prioritise ingredients that are close to expiring. That means less food in the bin and more meals from what you already own.

Daily Meal Planning (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Plan your day with clear slots for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Assign recipes or set menus to each slot, and switch between "Today" and "This Week" views to see your plan at a glance. No more "what's for dinner?" stress.

Connected Kitchens & Family Planning

Create a kitchen and invite family members to join. Everyone can see the same pantry and meal plan, mark which meals they're joining (e.g. "Having breakfast: Yes"), and stay in sync. Great for shared households and reducing duplicate cooking or shopping.

Menu Builder & Set Menus

Build your own menus with ingredients from your pantry. Define set menus for recurring meals and attach them to your daily plan. When it's time to cook, open the recipe, adjust servings, and follow steps with optional cooking notes.

Smart Shopping List

Generate a shopping list from what's running low or missing. The Shop tab helps you refill smarter and supports multiple currencies (e.g. LKR, USD), so you can budget and shop with clarity.

AI Chef Insights

Get smart suggestions like "Your spinach is perfect for Saag Paneer today!" so you use ingredients in time and discover new ways to cook with what you have.

Add a few pantry items with expiry dates, and you'll start seeing Fresh Flow Suggestions and expiry alerts. From there, build menus, plan your day, and invite others to your kitchen if you like.

1) Your Content (Recipes, Menus, Notes)

You retain full ownership and control over any recipes, menu items, cooking notes, and any other content you create, upload, save, edit, or share in the Fresh Flow app. Fresh Flow does not claim ownership of your recipes and does not treat your recipes as its assets.

2) AI / Suggestions (General)

Fresh Flow may provide AI-generated ideas, drafts, or suggestions. These are provided for convenience and inspiration only and are not a substitute for professional advice (including nutrition, medical, or food safety guidance).

3) Kids Menu (Kids Mode) — No Responsibility as a "Creator"

For the Kids Menu / Kids Mode, the agreements and conditions shown in the app are provided as informational guidance for parents/guardians. Fresh Flow does not assume responsibility for any decisions you make or any outcomes related to children's food choices.

You are solely responsible for:

  • verifying ingredients, allergies, and dietary suitability,
  • verifying cooking methods and safety,
  • confirming that the recipe is appropriate for the child in your care.

Fresh Flow is not liable for any harm, issues, or disputes that may result from your use of Kids Menu content or AI outputs.

4) Research Mode — No Responsibility as a "Creator"

For the Research Mode, AI may generate experimental or novel cooking ideas. The conditions shown in the app are for awareness only. Fresh Flow does not assume responsibility for the results of your use of Research Mode suggestions.

You remain responsible for:

  • checking ingredients and food safety,
  • ensuring allergies and dietary requirements are respected,
  • confirming the recipe and cooking approach before serving.

5) Disclaimer of Warranties / Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fresh Flow and its representatives are not responsible or liable for any damages, illness, injury, allergic reactions, or disputes arising from:

  • using recipes, menus, or notes you created or shared, and/or
  • using AI-generated or suggested content (including Kids Menu and Research Mode).

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
