Privacy Policy for FreshFlow

1. Introduction

FreshFlow we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By installing or using FreshFlow from the Google Play Store (or other distribution channels), you agree to this policy.

2. Data we do NOT use for advertising

We do not use your personal data or usage data for advertising. We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties for ad targeting or marketing.

3. Data we collect and why

We may collect and process limited technical and usage-related information to: Improve the app – Fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features. Provide convenience features – For example, syncing your pantry, meal plans, and kitchen data across your devices and with other members of your kitchen when you use shared kitchens. Operate the service – So you can create an account, log in, and use features like inventory, menus, and meal planning reliably. This may include: account identifiers (e.g. email/user ID), device type/OS version, app version, and usage of core features (e.g. that you use meal planning or inventory). We do not use this data for advertising; we use it only for the purposes above (improvements and user-convenience features).

4. How we use "meta" / technical data

We may use metadata and technical data (such as app version, device type, and general usage patterns) to: Improve app stability and performance. Develop and improve features that make the app more useful for you. Understand how features are used so we can prioritise development (e.g. meal planning, pantry, shopping list). We do not use this data to build advertising profiles or to target you with ads.

5. Data storage and security

Your data (e.g. pantry items, menus, meal plans) is stored and processed in line with our technical infrastructure (e.g. secure databases and APIs). We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access or misuse.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only: (a) when required by law or to protect rights/safety; (b) with service providers that help us run the app (e.g. hosting, authentication), under strict confidentiality; or (c) as you explicitly choose (e.g. sharing a kitchen with other users). We do not share your data with advertisers.

7. Your choices and rights

You can: use in-app settings where available; request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting us; and uninstall the app at any time. If you use an account, you may also be able to delete your account via the app or by contacting us.

8. Children's privacy

FreshFlow is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes (e.g. via the app or the email associated with your account, or by updating the "Last updated" date). Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
